About the Department
The Department of commerce was established in the year 2010 with the student strength of 30 and 1 staff member. The strength gradually increased to 90 students and 5 staff members. The students intake for the I year increased from 30 to 40 in the year 2014-2017.
The old syllabus followed upto 2010-11 batch and the syllabus was revised w.e.f 2011-12 batch and the new syllabus was revised w.e.f 2016-17 batch onwards. The department student were encouraged to participate in various inter-collegiate competition and sports event. They were given moral support to present papers at national and international level conferences. Till now 4 batch of students passed out from the department. Out of the out gone students some students continue with higher education and some student were placed in good jobs in various public and private sector companies. Out of them 3 were placed in police jobs and one student got bank job.
